Crazy JuLy!

So, I'm home..and all alone! We got done with our road trip 2 days before Matt had to report to the Air Force Base in Alabama for his 5 weeks of training! When he left Monday morning, we started packing up my mom and dad's house to move into another place down the street by Tuesday my mom was leaving to go to Salt Lake because my grandpa had gotten sick and wasn't expected to live. By wednesday we were in a new house full of boxes and our suitcases. My dad left Sunday to meet my mom in Utah and that was three weeks ago! They've been at the hospital the entire time and I am grateful that they've been able to be there.

SO it's been me and my kiddos, little sis, brother and 2 dogs in a house that isn't mine! I'm growing rather large and it is beyond HOT here! It hasn't been quite what we had planned but my cute grandpa is no longer on life support and doing well and I will relinquish my responsibilities tommorrow! Just in time for a few days break before moving into my own house!

Here are few shots from what we've been doing the last few weeks...


This was actually part of our road trip, but this is my grandpa! We left the day of his surgery that caused him to get so sick. We had so much fun and were so grateful we were able to spend that time with him, also grateful to still have a chance to do it again soon!!

















Right before my dad left was his 50th birthday!! Probably the crappiest 50th anyone has ever had!! But he's such a cute papaw and the kids were thrilled that it was his Birthday!!













One of the few highlights of the month was being able to see Matt!! He had his 29th Birthday about 2 weeks into his training and it just happened to fall on a Sunday so we were able to get permission to come to church with him. It took us about 5 hours to get there and then 5 hours to get home and we only got to see him for the 3 hours of church, but it was so nice to spend even that little bit of time with him! We had a mini birthday in one of the primary classrooms and tried to catch up on two weeks of missed time! We can't wait for him to be done in 9 days!!














This is just to show Nautica's bad luck the past few weeks! She fell on her arm and hurt her wrist, burned her finger on a curling iron, face planted into the diving board and scraped both knees on a dog walk! She isn't usually this clumsy/injured so I had to document!!



We've also done LOTS of swimming and playing at my grandma's house! Both of these activities tend to wear me out pretty good and therefore I have been unable to take any pictures!!
