The first stop we made was to my mom and dad's in Mississippi. They were out of town but we hung out with Uncle Ben and caught a few z's before we were on our way again!
Next stop TEXAS!
We were all very excited to see the Heggies! Can't believe it had been a whole year!
They've gotten so big!
They were nice enough to feed us and let us stay the night with them, then ruin their day at church! Aren't they awesome! We also got to see the Leinwebers and their sweet new baby!
Boston was so sweet to Nautica!
The next day we headed out and drove and drove and drove to Albuquerque where we stayed with Matt's sister's family! They had just moved into a new house with a swimming pool, so of course we didn't have to do anything to keep the kids entertained! And they had a blast with their cousins!
This was Saylor's first time to meet her aunts, Julie & Carrie! We love them!
We got to see more friends from Dental School. The Claytons had just moved to New Mexico! Between friends and family, we had so much fun we were starting to wish we had put Albuquerque first on our list!!
After 2 nights there we went on to Colorado to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Thomas. The kids just love their house, so it was another nice break for us ;)
Grandma let them pick carrots out of their garden, and they loved it! I thought they were turning into bunny rabbits :)
They did take a minute to indulge in the apple products..I think we've created monsters
Matt's brothers came up to visit while we were in town, so we had more cousins to play with and got to do a little catching up!
Then we split up and Matt headed on to California to check in at the base. I took the kids and went to Utah to see my family and my parents were there too!
