Spring Break Part 1: The Journey

For spring break this year, we were originally Hawaii bound, however after considering hiking and snorkeling with a 3 month old, we opted for a relaxing week in Arizona.
...Standby has been good to us thus far so we were caught by surprise when we didn't leave Fort Lauderdale until 7 hours after we arrived there. We were in good company though, so it wasn't a bad day..made the 1 1/2 hour flight to Atlanta and then made an impromptu connection to Las Vegas after realizing we weren't making it to Pheonix all in one trip.
So, arriving in Las Vegas at midnight (3am Eastern time), we figured our best bet was to just hang out and try to rest before our 6 something flight to Salt Lake where we would get on the next flight to Arizona(we found out when we got to Las Vegas that they had no direct flight from there to Pheonix).
The night in the Las Vegas airport was long, very long, and by this time we were all getting very tired, except for the kids of course because they slept on both flights!

Because we were terribly unprepared for such a long trip, I only packed 7 diapers, should've been enough I thought, since we were to leave at 3:15 & be at our final destination at 8:30. That wasn't the case and we had a small disaster.

Matt went to find diapers at the airport store and was unwilling to fork over 10 dollars for three diapers, so he came up with a "plan"

The kids finally fell asleep AFTER we MISSED our early morning flight to Salt Lake!!
