Before and Afters Part 1!

Well, we are finally "unpacked" but still aren't quite where we are wanting to be with our house! However, we have made a lot of progress so - these are a few of the before and afters that we have finished so far!

First order of business: the playroom! It's definitely a must have room in our house so I wanted to get it done first! And it is pretty much finished, we are going to build a wall unit for storing toys but probably not until after Christmas.

So this is what it looked like the day we got the keys. It got worse when all of the boxes got thrown in, and it's slowly gotten better!

This is the little reading corner, we painted it a happy yellow color and made this little bookshelf

 Decorated the wall a little, so you know who the bosses of this room are :) And got the toys all put up! It has been nice for the kids to have their own space back!

The next big project was the yard. Matt wanted to get it done right away so, he put down 2,000 square feet of sod, all by himself! (with the help of a few little hands, of course)

 And it was definitely worth it! I can't believe what a huge difference it made!! It looks so good and the kids LOVE it!

To reward himself for all of his hard work, he got a new toy! Happy early Anniversary dear :)
