We love spending lots of time outside and fortunately California has a lot to offer outdoors! Every weekend we have gone exploring and found some really fun things to do!
This is Jalama Beach, and just the drive to get there made it worth going! It's a pretty little beach/campground. We didn't camp overnight but we did pitch our tent right on the beach and spent the day playing!
It got quite foggy over the water, and I found out it isn't called fog, the term is marine layer but I like saying fog because it sounds a little more annoying and the "marine layer" annoys me :)
Luke isn't bothered by the freezing water at all, but his lips seem to turn purple quite easily!
Saylor and I spent a lot of time in the tent (sneaking the snacks!)
Another fun thing we found was this little hiking trail just down the road from our apartment. It goes up the hill that over looks the town and we've been going a couple times a week!
This time we were having a race with the sun, we were trying to get to the top before the sun went down!
And we made it!!
